We will learn about and make a gingerbread man and bird feeders. We will also study the letter P and enjoy a Pizza party while dressed in our Pajamas. We are grateful for all your Prayers and support for the children and the Preschool. The CPWM is hosting a bridal tea for David Cox (son of Bob and Debbie, grandson of Pat Wescott) and his bride-to-be, Crystal Blankenship. The tea will be on January 29, at 2:00 in the Family Life Center. They have selections at Target, Belk, and Walmart. Join us as we send this marriage off with our love. There will be a baby shower on Sunday, February 5th from 2:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon for Janie Parsons and Chris Hutchinson (Candy Barr's son). The baby is registered at Target, Babies R Us, Walmart, and Kohls. Children 3 thru 12 years old are invited to an afternoon of skating and pizza. On Sunday, January 22nd we will leave, from the church building following morning worship and have lunch at CC's Pizza and then go roller skating. Watch for more information and a sign up sheet and permission slip. As our children's group continues to grow please keep them and their teachers in your prayers. Hope Presbytery will gather to worship God and lift up Jesus Christ our Savor, on Sunday evening February 5th, 2012. This celebration will began at 6:pm and will take place at The Florence 1st C.P.Church. We will enjoy a time of fellowship and refreshments following the service. You will be blessed with the message in songs by "The Calvarymen". Rev. Dr. Don F. Thomas will be our speaker. Thanks to Rev. Dwayne McDuff and the Florence 1st church family for hosting this 202nd Birthday Celebration of our denomination. Please keep our Haiti Mission in your prayers as we continue our planning and preparations. At present there are 12 confirmed participants. Much joy and good work goes into these trips. When one of us goes to ministry in the name of the Lord, all go. Thanks for going along! Please join us on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m for the weekly Fellowship Meal. This meal is for ALL of us: children, youth, and adults. The Chancel Choir practices on Sundays at 5:45 pm and Wednesdays at 7:30 pm. *Holy Communion* will be served on the 1st Sunday of every month.
