| Graduating Seniors! We will honor our seniors, Jessica Gervais, Landyn Masoner and Blake Sanders on May 18th. A fellowship meal, sponsored by the Women's Sunday School class will follow worship. Bring a dish and join us in honoring their accomplishments.
Also on May 18th some of the children of our congregation will be presented with Bibles. We give thanks for these young people: Deanna Henderson, McKenzie Morrison, and Dillon Pettus. CPWM will meet on May 5th at 7:00 pm in the Family Life Center. All women are invited. Kathy Ezell will lead the program and Martha Weathers will be hostess. Rennaissance, the award winning vocal group of Bethel College, will perform in our sanctuary on Saturday, May 10th at 7:00 pm. Please make plans to be present for this opportunity to hear some of God's very talented young people. Preschool Graduation will be held Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00 pm. Everyone is invited! CPYC, aka Cumberland Presbyterian Youth Conference, will be July 13-18 and is open to youth finishing 9th-12th grade. Forms are available and must be turned in by June 11th. The 2008 Relay for Life. The Relay for Life effort this year allowed us to contribute over $11,000 to the American Cancer Society. Thanks to everyone who supported this year's activities and to all those participated in the walk or donated to the cause. A special thanks to Kathy Ezell and Candy Barr, who coordinated our efforts. The Women's Co-Dependency Support Group convenes every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. This group gathers in the women's Sunday School room (just off the narthex). Please invite those who might benefit from this new minstry. Many thanks to Suzanne Christopher who facilitates this group. Vacation Bible School will be the week of June 23-27. If you would like to assist in this vital ministry please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex. Fellowship Meals are held on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. This meal is for ALL of us. Please join us for this special time for fellowship. The Children's Choir, under the direction of Karen Cantrell practices on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. Children pre-school to age 8 are encouraged to participate.
Holy Communion will be served on the 1st Sunday of every month. Please bring your non-perishable food donations and place them in front of the communion table. GuestBook!!!
