Grace and peace to you all from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Lent has begun and the excitement is building. The culture has taken over Easter, Christmas, and other of the Holy Days. The Session joyfully shares with you that Angie Cosby will be our coordinator of Youth Ministry and Christian Education Director effective March 1st. We know and love Angie and her family and her work and her faith. We covenant with Angie to pray for her and be present in her work as God calls We are in need of one or two more people to help with the Wednesday night meals. If you are called to this important ministry, please email BenJared@usit.net. Volunteers only work one Wednesday night every 2-3 months. Mark your calendars for these Upcoming Events: Walkin' Ball (Non-running basketball) resumes January 14th. This co-ed game is open to everyone and will be held every Thursday night at 7:00. Upper Room Bible Study - meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 am. Please join us on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m for the weekly Fellowship Meal. This meal is for ALL of us: children, youth, and adults. The Childrens' Choir, under the direction of Karen Cantrell, practices on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. Children pre-school to age 8 are encouraged to participate. The Youth Choir meets on Sunday's at 5:00 pm.
